Currently at approximately 30 members,the orchestra is comprised of a diverse array of nationalities and gives four pairs of formal concerts per year, performing a wide range of repertoire and instrumentations. Half of these concerts feature BICO in its entirety presenting works for string and chamber orchestras. The remainder is dedicated to the BICO Chamber Music Series, which features smaller ensembles comprised of BICO members. Chamber Music concerts are performed on the first Saturday of each month at Capital M, Beijing and on the last Sunday of each month at M on the Bund, Shanghai.
