Last time I checked, and if I remember correctly, China Eastern has a return deal to HK for around RMB17xx.xx ... the trick is that you need to stay (I think) in Shanghai for 20+ hours ... I did not check whether they throw in hotel or you have to pay for it yourself ...

There is also the alternative to go to ShenZhen first, and then take a bus or train to Kowloon ... it will take you about RMB2000, I think ...

Of course, there is always the direct flight ...
