My current options are BHG and Chaoshifa (超市发), but I'm dissatisfied with both and have been searching for a replacement for my favourite supermarket in Beijing so far: Shuangjing Carrefour (it should not be noted that all chain stores are not created equal, and that Zhongguancun and Jiandeman Carrefours pale in comparison to the more internationally-orientated Shuangjing branch).

They're open, but they didn't even get all the lightening in place and a lot of food is missing. But looks promising and the prices seemed fair. They're gonna have a dining section as well, various dishes around 20 rmb and smoothies for 10 rmb.
