I'm curious if any Z-Visa residents in BJ has gone through all the legal processes to obtain a motorcycle with 京A or 京B plates.  Were you able to get the bike legally registered in your name with blue book and all?

Last year I had a scooter, bought it new and never got a plate for it.  I knew a girl at the gas station who let me gas up without checking plate or papers.  However this year I want to buy a real motorcycle not a scooter, and I plan on doing it legit this time, 100% legal.  If you have had this experience with buying legit bike with legit plates, please share your story.
