for sure his biggest mistake was Yoko... his music before yoko was much better than when his was with her...

"If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace."

instead of TV set you can change by iphone5 it always works...

yes, i think she did affect his creativity... And no i don't repeat, i listen... i definitely prefer his music before yoko...

Lennon fans are fans... I watched the documentary... but i'm talking about the music side not about his political side. As i say to isidnar, i really prefer his music before Yoko than after...

    Peace. ;-)

if it was not yoko,it might also be alcohol, drugs,or some other stuff that affected his creativity. so that was Lennon himself chose his life, its not fair to blame others.

  • Peter S 李贝勒

@Smilence maybe you right about his life... but many songs ( not all thnaks god) he wrote when he was with Yoko are awfull

if you can go on u tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxk0vsONJO0 it's fucking bad... John Lennon - Oh Yoko

  • Simen Stensvoll

@Peter S ,im not his fan,nor Yoko's. if you try to think in another way,,,,maybe the songs could be worse without Yoko.

  • Peter S 李贝勒

What you say make sense, but i don't think so... I think he changed a lot, cause of her, she influenced him a lot... If he changed of personality, it affects his way to write music and create.

Lennon and Macca are possibly most overrated musicians in the history of mankind, though they did set a few trends and change the music business forever.

in the Beatles, i prefer Paul, it's the best musician of all of them... the bass line of "come together" is one of my favorite bass line ever... Then, the harmony of "Michelle" is one of the more sophisticated and clever that the Beatles ever wrote...

Then, i said most of the songs wrote by john when he was with yoko were bad, the exception is "I want you, she 's so heavy" who's a masterpiece... It is one of the last songs that the Beatles mixed as a group, on 20 August 1969...
