I notice something funny. Chinese usually don’t open the gift once receive it. We usually open later and express thanks by messages or calling. On the country, western people open the gift as long as receive it and express thanks at once, like “oh, thank you! So lovely! I love it so much. ”Chinese don’t do this. In Chinese mind, it’s not polite or lack of patience to open the gift so fast. Funny difference. What do you usually do when u receive a gift? What do you think of difference?
