Got a short, feature or documentary film you want to screen? The East End Film Festival accepts entries from all over the world and has a specific 'Chinese' strand for this coming 2010. Alongside the more popular features we would love to receive some films from the burgeoning young talent of China.

Last year we had the premiere of Zhang Chi's amazing first feature, The Shaft, a social realist drama which depicted the ordinary lives of a family at the harsh coalface of modern China.

If you have any questions or queries then do drop me a message. If you think your film has got what it takes then please read the text (below) and send us a submission via our website. Best of luck!

The East End Film Festival showcases hot new talent and homegrown films alongside larger independent releases and special events, informing and inspiring a new generation of filmmakers and audiences from across London and beyond, and raising the profile of this vibrant and diverse area – London’s East End.

We are now accepting admissions for short films. For a chance of winning an early bird prize you should ensure that you get your films to us before December 11th. The final deadline is on the 15th January, 2010.
