BEYOND THE OCEAN: For those of you who are wondering what all of the fuss is about regarding this country's domestic music scene, here's your chance to pop your baijiu-flavored rock and roll cherries with five of China's most renowned recording artists: Carsick Cars, White, Wuhan discopunk quartet AV Okubo, Xiao He (pictured above) and P.K. 14. This gang of five, all of whom are Maybe Mars artists, are set to head to the States this month for SXSW 2010, the country's largest indie music festival.
