Hahahahaha ... if that is the only choice, I would have to say Shanghai ...better food :)
"generally we Chinese think the Beijingers aer less cold than shanghai people"emphasized text
i had the same thought before i moved here, now that has been changd. people of new generation are just easy to get along with as people in beijing. and half of the population in this city is from all over China, u may know more of them than local shanghainese.
you will see...
I don't think it's a good question to ask here. People may give misleading answers. You have to be there to see yourself so you know what kind of food you'll really have to eat and what kind of people you'll have to deal with. I was there yesterday, and I pick Beijing, not that Shanghai is worse in any way, just Beijing is better.
Of course Beijing is better! Food in shanghai is too freaking sweet! Bars in shanghai are ok, but Beijing has those too!
All Shanghai people (especially girls) are extremely nice... They'll do anything to make / keep you happy. I'd say Shanghainese are the best people in the world... Just make friends there and you'll know it
But besides the people, there are other factors you would consider? [br] [br] 1. The cost of living is slightly higher depending on the area of SH.. bottom-line = if the new job is not offering more, it doesn't make sense to move in to a lower quality of life (or a lower ability to save). [br] [br] 2. The weather is not as dry as in Beijing, this could matter if you have sensitive skin [br] [br] 3. If you're addicted to subways you may need a little adjustment except you're lucky one of the few lines runs through where you'd live, and where you'd work. [br] [br] 4. If you cook your own food, best for you... etc etc
(continued) ... and Chengdu too, right?
(continued) ... even Beijing is not all that safe these days ... for anyone, esp girls, who love a late night out ...
Hahahahaha ... thank you :)
i dont wanna choose...only like canton better more~~~
