    <p>TITLE: Online and New Media Co-ordinator JOB TYPE: Full time LOCATION: Beijing</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Online and New Media Co-ordinator (SONMC) reports to the Online and New Media Manager. The SONMC’s role focuses on social media and web content management, writing and editing for social media and website, graphic design and site management.</p> <p>The SONMC will work closely with all of the other external relationship and campaign focused divisions and functions, in particular with the: • Research and PR &amp; Messaging divisions in writing, editing, and proofreading site and social media content; </p> <p>• Website Developer to maintain site standards with regard to new development; and Fundraising &amp; Development and Programs divisions to support promotional events and programs and fundraising and sponsorship initiatives as they relate to social media messaging and website content. As such, strong cross-functional communication skills are needed for the role. </p> <p>The ideal candidate will also have experience managing online marketing and outreach campaigns. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>• Create, develop and manage content for the THIRST campaign’s web presence (requires working with content management software) </p> <p>• Work with the Social Media Co-ordinators to develop content for THIRST’s social media messaging</p> <p>• Coordinate projects and activities with impacts or dependencies on the website across divisions </p> <p>• Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties </p> <p>• Support the Online and New Media Manager in maintaining and developing a content calendar for all web properties </p> <p>• Copy, edit and proofread all web content </p> <p>• Oversee any freelance writers, copy editors or other website content contributors that may be engaged by the campaign </p> <p>• Liaise with the Website Developer to keep current with emerging web technologies </p> <p>• Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference </p> <p>• Track and report on all site metrics </p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>• Exceptional communication and organisational skills </p> <p>• Knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems </p> <p>• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment</p> <p>• Basic Adobe Photoshop skills </p> <p>• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team.</p> <p>• 3-5 years experience managing content and production for high traffic websites</p> <p>• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field</p> <p>• Native Mandarin speaker</p> <p>Conditions</p> <p>TBD</p> <p>Anyone interested in this job please send your cv to : meirav@thirst4water.org </p> <p>Thanks </p>
