    High schools and universities expanded admissions even though birthrates fell, so now there's a fuckload of middle class Chinese university graduates who feel that they're too good for the plentiful manufacturing jobs all over the country, but they still can't get a foot in the door to start professional or technical careers. That's how you get unemployment and labor shortages at the same time.
