I think Purto rico is in Caribbean area.

Im supposed to go to Peru for volunteer work this Oct. but the stupid VISA hassle doesn't allow me to go anywhere until i renew my uk visa. Anyway, Peru is the safest country in South America according to my friends who has been working there for years.

No offense, but Peruvians look worst in South America area..(done a lot of research before the job application lol)

I think the hottest girl from Brazil, Columbia, Cuba and Argentina.

Oh man, I felt like a princess when i was in Cuba. They do know how to make girls happy (so they can get good tips haha)!!!

I'm from Brazil, so my opinion might be a bit unbiased :)

I do think South America people, mainly Brazilians, are quite friendly and warm. The beauty standard is too different from Asia...not better, not worst, just different....but have to tell while in China I was missing it a lot (anyways, that's part of the challenge)

The culture is amazing and changes a lot according to the country...there are tons of sightseeing to visit plus history to discover. Definitively you guys have to include South America into you travel planning.

Scott: totally agree with you. But for sure South America countries could be safer.

Sasa: tickets are expensive, it sucks, and you always have to transfer in USA, Europe, or Dubai. But it is worth :)

Are we really going to delve into this topic? I was kind of just kidding. Ummm.

Actually my dad's side of the family is Argentinian, so you would think I would have more to say about South America. But I never got to know that side of the family very well.

"partly it's becuz they got Italian decent?"

O rly? I had no idea. I'm kind of embarrassed that I can't speak Spanish :-/ even though I never really studied it or had it around in my life growing up. Rural Michigan is the anti-Spanish.

Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile have the most beautiful way to speak Spanish...pretty much light and clean. And Brazilian Portuguese sounds more sexy than Portugal one as well.

SaSa is right, Argentina had been colonized by Italians...but the Spanish came first and that's reason for having it as mother language.

Wish you can visit Buenos Aires, the city had an European style...perhaps the population too

Also, note that we are talking about South/Latin America countries here.

Those countries have Spanish as native language due the colonization, and sounds natural finding some gaps/differences....it means a bad copy for you?
