    Don't listen to any of these clowns. Actually Shane is spot-on with A Tribe Called Quest, although I was never super-huge into them.

    Definitive? You gotta get Wu-Tang Clan: Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). I can't believe no one's even mentioned them yet. Huge record.

    That's a good start. Mostly West Coast stuff though. I was never too big into East Coast other than the afore-mentioned Biggie + Wu-Tang Clan.
