Yeah the first time I heard that joint was on new years eve, I had to download it the next day. I'm not a big fan of the forget you version though
Chinese music also very welcome...I'm a huge fan of 张惠妹 and her new CD is full of great songs
Whitehouse - Bird Seed
Ground breaking electronic album. Will redifine how you think about music. Guarenteed.
You guys. You GUYS. The most overplayed song of the year + a Chinese pop singer? Come onnnnnn. Lyrics Born is kosher. Uhhh.
Boris dropped two new records recently, Japanese rock band of immense stature. Actually their guitarist is probably shorter than I am. But they have big amps. Reason enough to check 'em out
I dunno, whenever I listen to Whitehouse I just think of creepy British dudes. Like they just look like a bunch of pedophiles to me. Their album covers didn't help
great input, keep it coming
Jiang Zemin and the Market Economists with Chinese Characteristics. I heard they're about to drop a new joint.
Way to spoil my fun! My somewhat disturbed genuine enjoyment of their music aside, I was hoping I'd get him to listen to Whitehouse and expect some techno or something and then get a shock... you're no fun!
Lets hear some more recommendations please

This reminds me of when Napster first came out. I'd rename grindcore songs with like "Britney Spears - stupidsongtitle" and put them in my upload folder or whatever they called it back then. Musical terrorism.
"Come on... You should have been able to catch the sarcasm in my post."
Forget you, Scott...forget you. No I'm just so glad that I haven't heard that song in awhile. When I went to Florida to visit my fam in March, I swear it came on the radio like three times hourly. No matter what station.
"i suggest you look for the extremely rare demo by Crisis."
Right fucking on. Dude, did you know there's a barbecue place by the old studio in Xuanwumen? Kieran mentioned it in a different thread. How did we not hit that up? Maybe they only do it in the summer?
Also, music suggestions:
That's right. The Wu-Tang Clan and Fugazi, coming together to create more than the sum of their parts. Incredible.
You also gotta hit that new Das Racist joint, "Michael Jackson" - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/02/das-racist-michael-jackson_n_916639.html
How a bit of classically inspired 70s prog-rock?
Try Curved Air's Phatasmagoria, and remember that without Curved Air there would have been no Vanilla Ice.
