your favourite quote is drawing about your thinking about your life,

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”

Rather, it has been the risk-takers, the doers, the makers of things – some celebrated but more often men and women obscure in their labor, who have carried us up the long, rugged path towards prosperity and freedom.” Baraka Obama

@Gloria aka Evanescence , it's not a bible quote, and not from the barblue, but from a Deist Benjamin Francklin. It's a controversial statement which from my part agree with it partially. We are not living in time where manna comes from heaven. We believe in God, our belief, for those who do so, have to be a combination of faith plus action.

Here's a bit of Gnostic apocrypha to confuse the shit out of everybody.

To those of you lucky enough to be spared a religious education, the following tract does not appear in the Bible; Thomas is infamous in the Gospel of John for being the disciple who doubted Jesus' resurrection and said he would not believe his teacher had risen from the dead unless he could touch the nail-holes in his wrists. The Gospel of John was authored later than the apocryphal Gospel of Thomas and is also the latest and least historical of the four canonical Gospels included in the Holy Bible, and this passage has parallels in the earlier Gospels, leading some Biblical scholars to believe it paints a very different of early Christianity than what modern religious officials would have us believe.

"Jesus said to his disciples: Make a comparison to me, and tell me whom I am like. Simon Peter said to him: Thou art like a righteous angel. Matthew said to him: Thou art like a wise man of understanding. Thomas said to him: Master, my mouth will no wise suffer that I say whom thou art like. Jesus said: I am not thy master, because thou hast drunk, thou hast become drunk from the bubbling spring which I have measured out. And he took him, went aside, and spoke to him three words. Now when Thomas came to his companions, they asked him: What did Jesus say unto thee? Thomas said to them: If I tell you one of the words which he said to me, you will take up stones and throw them me; and a fire will come out of the stones and burn you up." --Gospel of Thomas 13

Crazy shit, ain't it? I think early Christians were wiser than the modern kind.

That's funny - I have my moments of realizing that I'm bilking hundreds of thousands of people out of their hard-earned cash because they think that I have some special connection to a made-up man in the sky, too!
