    it's not the same sort of festivals. Ephemeral is a pure indoor serie of live shows in different places, it's rather similar to JUE Festival. it's even not the same time to Strawberry or Midi.

    Midi has never been too good on the commercial sense, especially in Beijing, their budget is very low. To have Mr. Big coming is already very difficualt. They will get better in Beijing with time. Strawberry never got my interest. One should rather check out this years Pinggu Festival if you are not into the typical Midi rock stuff.

    Avril Lavigne, Juliette Lewis (female lead on "Natural Born Killers" with her rock band), Editors, Ladytron, Little Boots, KT Tunstall, Hot Hot Heat, Rooney, Negative, etc. the best festival line up so far, but more indie stuff than rock.
