errrrr...what do you mean by "products in China"? Chinese brands or "made in China". As for the latter, I think many people would want to buy, eg.  iPhone4 or iPad2?

Admittedly, a good guitar is an artwork, but it's not a "sophisticated" product. When comes to those "sophisticated" products, common consumers may only know two things related to "where" the product they buy "originally" comes from: the company, the brand's owner's originality, and the country where the finally product is assembed. However, if you wanna investigate in the whole value added process, much more companies/countries are there.

I have a German car in the US, what? I think I'll never buy a imported car in China because of unreasonably high custom tax+sales tax+import value added tax -- I don't want to give my money to the government for no reason. I mean, I believe Germany made automobiles are better, even tho China can produce these cars now.

    。。。

Hahahahaha ... mainly food ... NZ smoked salmon (my wife loves it), steak fillet (for some crazy reason, it is cheaper than the local ones), butter and cheese (hate the taste of local ones), pasta and pasta sauce ...

It would be silly to buy "imported" eletronics though, since it is most likely made in China, so there is a similar (or sometimes better) product at half the price ...

    ...

    Hahahahaha ...

Michael (ex Mike number one) ... Jenny Lou's, west of Chao Yang Park (I dont know if the others have them), 88rmb per kg ... and I think they only stock two packs every day? I often buy it in "whole", in the vacuum pack, about 1.5 to 2 kg ... then cut it into about two halfes, and then put them in the freezer ...
