errrrr...what do you mean by "products in China"? Chinese brands or "made in China". As for the latter, I think many people would want to buy, eg. iPhone4 or iPad2?
Admittedly, a good guitar is an artwork, but it's not a "sophisticated" product. When comes to those "sophisticated" products, common consumers may only know two things related to "where" the product they buy "originally" comes from: the company, the brand's owner's originality, and the country where the finally product is assembed. However, if you wanna investigate in the whole value added process, much more companies/countries are there.
imports dude. imports. NOT MADE IN CHINA
Got it...Japs' electronics, German cars, that's it
you bought a car?
I have a German car in the US, what? I think I'll never buy a imported car in China because of unreasonably high custom tax+sales tax+import value added tax -- I don't want to give my money to the government for no reason. I mean, I believe Germany made automobiles are better, even tho China can produce these cars now.
agreed. Yea, the tax rate is just sad.
do you buy foods, electronics, clothes, music, movies etc?
yes i can. why?
oh cool . but i just dont know why you didn't send me the link. instead of hijacking my thread :P
Hahahahaha ... mainly food ... NZ smoked salmon (my wife loves it), steak fillet (for some crazy reason, it is cheaper than the local ones), butter and cheese (hate the taste of local ones), pasta and pasta sauce ...
It would be silly to buy "imported" eletronics though, since it is most likely made in China, so there is a similar (or sometimes better) product at half the price ...
"steak fillet (for some crazy reason, it is cheaper than the local ones)"
Uhhhhh WHERE do you buy cheap steak?? WANT
Michael (ex Mike number one) ... Jenny Lou's, west of Chao Yang Park (I dont know if the others have them), 88rmb per kg ... and I think they only stock two packs every day? I often buy it in "whole", in the vacuum pack, about 1.5 to 2 kg ... then cut it into about two halfes, and then put them in the freezer ...
"do you buy foods, electronics, clothes, music, movies etc?"
--food: no really, I prefer Chinese food;
--electronics: I said that I prefer japs';
--clothes: not really, since almost all affordable clothes is made in China, and I have no interested in any luxury brands
--movie: if I were in China, I have to download illegal ones for that most movies I like are never on the screen in China
--others: yeah, Japanese make the world's best porn!
