Since the WLIB team had asked me the same question over the year, so I thought, for the record, I should tell everyone that I use IE through and through, currently version 8 :)

However, from all the forum threads, it would seem that IE is not the most popular browser among WLIB team and members, so I am just wondering am I the odd one out, or most people (esp the slient ones) dont care much about the functionality here ...

    1. What browser do you use and what version

    2. What O/S and device do you use?

Usually use Windows 7 and use the Opera browser. Opera is just plain awesome. Sometimes I'll use Chrome if a site won't work with Opera and if a site won't work with either of those two, I'll use Firefox. IE is not even an option unless I need to test a site for IE compatibility.

Stay away from IE as much as I can which means... not that much since it's the only browser available in many companies and we need to make sure the stuff we give our client works in that browser!

Firefox, cause part of my job actually requires me to do web development and nothing beats firefox extensions for that. Also provides me an extension to help understand chinese on the web in the fastest and easiest way(check chinese peraperakun if interested).

Chrome cause it gives bigger space on the screen for the website, and is fast to launch. Tends to have troubles handling dozens of tabs though.

IE is just way behind its competitors... in functionality, ergonomy etc!

Hahahaha ... I should feel bad for using IE, but I dont ... again, using my old school training, if WLIB works 100% on IE, it works on anything ...

I always use the latest version of Firefox at home, IE 8 is really good, but i have vista home edition so i cant install IE 8 in my system, i use IE 8 in the office and its awsome. New opera browser gives a bigger space, so i use it to access restricted websites..eh..esp..porn :D

I use Ubuntu Linux and Firefox. I'm considering a switch to Chrome, but I like my add-ons.

    COOL,

I'll have it. But I can only pay you by direct deposit into your bank account. However, you must open an account with a participating bank in order to do so. If you make a $50 dollar opening deposit to meet the minimum balance requirement for a checking account with the Bank of Od Nad, I will wire the money to you with great alacrity.

I think browsers are also compatible with the computer system. I mean, google crome might not work well with WindowsXP and might work well with Windows 7. One must check the compatibility i think.

cool XP works with all browsers however.
