BRITTANY PARTY / SAINT YVES’ DAY

SATURDAY 22 MAY 2010 AT THE FRENCH SCHOOL IN SANLITUN – BRETON FEST-NOZ

Since 1997 the Britons around the world have decided to celebrate Brittany on saint Yves’s day mid-May, just like the Irish celebrate saint Patrick’s day mid-March.

Zhongbreizh, the association of Britons in Beijing organizes with the help of the Brittany Council and other local sponsors, his fest-noz (night outdoor party with live, dansers, Breton food and cider…) on Saturday 22 May in the open ground of the French school in Sanlitun from 8 pm till midnight (13, Sanlitun Dong Si Jie Beijing 100600 - 北京法国国际学校 - 京市朝阳区三里屯东四街13号 tube : 5-10mn from ligne 10: Nongyezhanlanguan station.

6 musicians and danseurs from Kafe Koefet group will come directly from Brittany to make us dance and sweat till late. On the spot, there will be food, traditional Briton sweet pancakes, biscuits, cider… The evening is open to all and kids are very welcomed, there is a lot of space for them to play around. Tickets sale for 20 rmb/person, 10 rmb for kids under 14 and students with student card). Come and experience a lit a bit of Brittany in Beijing, bring your friends along.
