This is just a little something to try and break away from the constant SEX / NEGATIVE threads going on lately.

First, look at the poster above you and post something you find nice about their culture, people, government or country in general.

    IT MUST BE POSITIVE

The only negativity I'll allow in this thread is about YOUR own country.

For example, if someone comes along and says:

"I love the English men. They are such gentleman", then I, as an English man am allowed to say "Actually we're all beer drinking slobs".

Negative jibes about others' countries will be deleted!

I'll start with Norway, the WLIB Gods country. If it weren't for Norway, we wouldn't have had the fantastic Röyksopp album, Melody AM. One of my all time favorite chiil out albums.

For China ... gotta love the 5-yuan lunch in Beijing and the 40-cent bus fare ...

Jon, you have got it easy ... in my case, I am Chinese by DNA, Hong Kong by residency, and Australia by citizenship ...

You cannot continue to spoil the conversations and threads of other members of the community. I warned you politely about this before lest you become the most reviled user on this website, which you have managed to do so only in a few short weeks of joining.

I've been tolerant of you until now, but considering you are starting to negatively-effect the user experience of other members of this community, I'm asking you again to stop being a jackass.

If you don't have anything nice to contribute, keep your thoughts to yourself. Thanks, buddy.

Why don't you also delete the ignorant post by blair? because it mentions some positive lies about your country?

I took at least 8 mins of my precious time to type that post to educate people about other parts of the world.. Why do you hate my post so much? because I don't say "I love europe" , "Germany romantic" crap? must everyone think like you?

I often spend 20 or so minutes to type up a post (yeah, it's terrible to be a slow thinker with slow hands), not thinking about something called "time-out", and when I hit "agree and post", I realised that I had been logged out, and the post would not be posted, and I cannot retrieve what I had typed ...

The major contributor to many Chinese people being so negative in an environment where speech freedom is relatively preserved is the effect of suppression...obedience and conformity are crucial to be NORMALLY Chinese...So, in praising our Chineseness, let's sing a gospel of suppression...
