As you all know, we're sending out weekly newsletters. Now we'd like to hear your opinion.

Do you read e-mail newsletters at all?

    Do you read ours?
    - NO; Why not? And which do you read?
    - YES: What do you like in our current newsletter?

Do you normally click "View Images" in ours/other newsletters?

Other suggestions / tips? We're always open for improvements :-)

    YES:

    I like:

"Tip:Behave yourselves on the forums! Argh!"

Keeping it personal in tone is good.

Maybe more features such as "Post of the week" Member of the month etc.

    Discounts!

"Do you normally click "View Images" in ours/other newsletters?":

If you want to measure what things people are clicking, why don't you set up some tracking links which forward from a unique URLs before going to the main site. Should be able to check number of hits going to each URL in Analytics and then you can see where people are clicking.

Richard: The "View Images" link is part of the inbox software / webmail solution, so we can't track that one. However, this gave me an idea of another possible solution. If there's any way of tracking how many times a unique image embedded in the mail has been loaded, we can measure it with pinpoint accuracy :-) Thanks for triggering the idea ;)

Google Analytics has a function for this with a transparent gif a colleague just told me. Problem solved! :-)
