I've got a month old ordinary China Unicom sim-card. I've been told it will automatically be activated for 3G, but it doesnt seem like that have happened (at least not yet).

Anyone know how this process is done? And if I need to update any settings?

I think you need to find a CU store to apply for the 3G connection service: charged by flow rate or a fixed package. Or you can call 10010 - english service to activate it. Of coz, your mobile phone should support WCDMA standard. TD-SCDMA and CDMA2000 won't work~

I've got an iPhone 3GS, but not sure what it has. I've been told it should work though. Think I'll get one of the chinese developers at the office to help me :)
