Posted by thechinaguide on 12. Jul 2016

Located in Hunan, South Central China, Zhangjiajie is probably most well known as the inspiration for the ‘floating mountains’ in the movie Avatar. Zhangjiajie is a subtropical forest that has 3000 over quartzite sandstone pillars that reach the clouds. This 2-day tour covers the highlights of Zhangjiajie including Golden Whip Stream, the Ten Mile Gallery Route and Tianzi Mountain. The China Guide offers many tours all over China but we are also able to tailor to your needs if needed.
