SILVERSCREEN PART VI: The sixth edition of this monthly event series designed to bring local groundbreaking artists, producers and visual artists to this 798 venue sees French producer ONRA dropping by to share his Vietnamese-influenced brand of worldly instrumental hip-hop (think if J Dilla channeled deities with a hát chầu văn troupe) with a laidback summertime vibe. Afrokoko Roots: This 15-piece fusion band brings their blend of Afrobeat originals and reggae classics from the late-1970s to this invigorating world music venue. The rainbow coalition (members hail from the Philippines, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Burundi, the States and China) contains a four-piece horn section and a dance team as well.

CARNIVAL PARTY: A night of Cuban festivities, replete with dancers, tunes and tropical drinks at this new Latin-themed venue at Chaoyang Park West.
