We're guessing that upon their arrival in Beijing, the combination of their fashionable geekdom, Gulou's myriad of boutiques and the inevitable march of hundreds of pairs of Chuck's to their gig will lead to either a) a gaping vortex of insufferable elitism; b) enough telegenic young'uns assembled at one time and place to provide decades of material for Nels Frye's "Stylites" column, or c) a damn fine evening of melodic post punk. You be the judge. Local Britpop act Perdel and A Bigger Bang will support.
