Our team sifted through the hundreds of holiday gatherings scheduled to unfold this week. Below you’ll find the coolest of the bunch. We’ll keep this page updated throughout the week with more info as it comes in, so stay tuned!


DJ Chris Samba: Soulful house beats lay down the soundtrack for gift giveaways and the sweet flow of Champagne with 1-for-1 Moet & Chandon all night long. (Hopefully Santa won’t come down the chimney to find you in your date’s cocktail dress the next morning.)

Happy Boatie XMAS Party: DJs @llen, BB, QQ and Sam ring in 2009 with steady sets of disco funk on everyone’s favorite floating barge o’ fun.

Winter Wonderland: Scantily-clad fatales sling up icy cocktails in Beijing’s most… lavish nightlife venue. Expect live music, as well.

Christmas Dinner: It may be a Mexican joint, but Leaping Luga is set to sling traditional Christmas fare this week, including two turkey breasts (with cranberry and hollandaise sauces), roasted potatoes, salmon roll, melon-enclosed lamb roll and cheesecake. Large parties should call ahead one day in advance (6416-2575)

Christmas Party: Mo Yi, Perdel, He Jubian, Xin Xiangshui and San Weiyu set to provide some holiday cheer with sounds ranging from folk-metal (Mo Yi) to Brit Pop (Perdel).
