Eswar Prasad will discuss issues related to the Renminbi. His new report from the Brookings Institution evaluates the progress and prospects of the renminbi becoming a global currency. The report analyzes the implications for the Chinese economy as well as the global monetary system. The event will also feature the launch of the Chinese translation of the author’s book on Emerging Markets: Resilience and Growth Amid Global Turmoil.
